When our neighbor and friend came to us with an idea for an old storefront in downtown Westerly, she had a clear vision: turn the street-front space into an old-fashioned pub and eatery filled with warmth, wood, character, and charm. There were no formal plans, the whole design lived in her head. She took Eric and Chris on a tour through local pubs in Providence, pointing out the details she loved: rich woodwork, paneled walls, intricate trim, cozy corners, and that inviting feeling of a place that already had a history. Eric went to the drawing board, and Saint Construction brought the vision to life.The finished space became The Twisted Vine — a warm, classic pub-style interior with custom wood paneling, detailed trim work, built-in bar elements, and a comfortable downtown atmosphere. From the storefront entrance to the handcrafted interior details, the project transformed a simple commercial space into a welcoming gathering place with the feel of an old-world pub.
